About

The task is not so much to see what no one yet has seen, but to think what no body yet has thought about that which everyone sees. …But life is short, and truth works far and lives long: let us speak the truth. - Arthur Schopenhauer

Hello everyone,

My name is Naparlica Titus-Armand and I am your average 20 years old guy. Average by my standards, because some of the people around consider me a bit “eccentric” - I don’t follow any conventional way of thinking or living and I always do the things that work for me, even if they haven’t been done before. Oh, I live in a once beautiful country: Romania.

I started Project Armannd after realizing how much my non-conventional way of thinking improved my life. It is the desire to share what I had learned over the years and the wish to help and encourage others to “help themselves” live a more fulfilling life that drove me to start Project Armannd.

In the past, I’ve been blessed with plenty of failures in many areas of my life. Why do I say blessed? Because it was those (early) failures that made me begin documenting the pitfalls encountered. And equally important is the fact that I also began looking for and learning from the experiences of others - because no matter how hard we try we can’t live long enough to make all the mistakes ourselves.

In a nutshell, that is what Project Armannd is all about, sharing - tested - tips that improve life quality.

Project Armannd was started on 13 June, 2007 and it can be categorized as a self-improvement blog. However, it doesn’t tackle self improvement in a strict traditional way. It has a rather broad approach - any useful information that could be used to improve one’s life is a potential article.

From many available topics, I could say that these stand out:

  • Psychology - Psychology is a discipline that involves scientific studies of the human mental processes and behaviours. It studies phenomenons such as perception, cognition, emotion, personality, behavior and interpersonal relationships. It also refers to the application of such knowledge to various spheres of human activity.
  • Philosophy - Philosophy is a form of social conscience and constitutes a coherent system of ideas and notions that reflect the most general aspects of reality. To put it short, philosophy is a general conception regarding the life and the world. Knowledge of philosophy can help you develop your mental, emotional and spiritual attributes.
  • Success and Motivation - The achievement of success is determined by how far you are determined to go for it. And no one goes too far without proper motivation.
  • Health and Nutrition - We are what we ate, we become what we eat. Health and nutrition are tightly interconnected. I’m sure that everyone wants to be healthy.
