Feeling low on energy? No problem - Power Tips
I’ve found a very good article on how to quicly replenish your energy when you’re feeling under the weather. The original 27 tips on how to get a quick lift-up on energy levels were written by Ririan, from RirianProject.com.
The following 9 are giving the best results for me; for the full list be sure to visit his blog.
- Tea. I drink green tea all the time. It’s the best replacement for coffe, with amazing results. The antioxydants it contains will help you keep your young look for a longer time. It also is a quick energy booster. I recommend drinking it without sugar for maximum effects.
- Drink more water. A significant fraction of the human body is water. This body water is distributed in different compartments in the body. Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water. Blood contains 83% water, body fat contains 25% water and bone has 22% water. Water is vital! You should drink at least 2 and 1/2 liters per day.
- Breathe correctly. Have a few moment daily for a correct, deep breathing exercise. A deep breath is relaxing and helps for a better body and brain oxygenation.
- Cold water is your friend. Splashing cold water on your face will make you feel more alive and alert.
- Take a short break. Just sit back and breathe deeply to relax yourself.
- Move and get your blood flowing. This increases the metabolic rate and stimulates the release of endorphins in your body. You will feel happier and healthier.
- Expose yourself to some sun rays. Sun exposure is the main source of vitamin D, which reduces the risk of certain cancers. People in the United Kingdom cannot synthesize vitamin during the winter months due to decreased amount of sun exposure.
- Get to bed earlier. Today’s world is a rush, you sure need to have as much energy available. Going to bed early allows you to stay alert all day (the next day that is).
- Reduce your stress. Simplify, this is really the best thing to do in order to get rid of stress.
