Things that matter

Big day today! Want to know why?

The blog celebrates a month of existence!

It’s not a lot of time, but it has been enough to gather a small group of loyal readers. A big and warm “Thank You” to all!

The highlight articles of the first month:

  1. Drinking problems? – How to stop drinking
  2. How to wake up early
  3. The honey ghost – is skinny sexy?
  4. The happiness recipe. 56 tips for a happier life
  5. The money blueprint
  6. Good visual memory? Put it to the test
  7. Connections between weather and psychology
  8. Flag colors – psychological influences?
  9. 4 reasons why personality tests are evil
  10. Take control

Some of them are my favorites too, but I would also like to name some other very interesting posts:

Now some miscellaneous figures regarding the first month of existence.

Thank you Lyman! Looking forward to see you around here as often as possible.
Future plans include contests, cool prizes and other interesting things for the readers… :)

In the near future I’m also thinking to reward the top commentators somehow, so you’d better start writing (but not spam)! :)

    Congratulations!

I like the personality test post. Most of them do sort of reek of evil, don’t they? Especially considering how much time they consume– ten minutes of your life, gone, gone forever, just to tell you something that you already know!

*V. Neely: Exactly! :) The personality tests that I find useful are those that take at least half an hour to complete. Those kinds of tests are neutral and really tell you some new things about yourself. The (fun) personality (and not only personality) tests from magazines are in most cases just manipulation tools and the value provided by them to the reader is null.
Thank you for being a valuable reader!

*LindaF: Thank you for your kind words, they are very appreciated! Here’s to the eons of blogging to come! :)

*Cristina: Thank you very much! Cheers!

Many thanks to all the readers!

PS: This looks like a clear case of “thank you” abuse. :)

Thank you for your kind words Shine!
It’s nice of you say that I don’t look like a newbie, but I know I am. The thing is that I’m aware of my condition and I’m constantly learning and improving. Persistence is key to success. :)
