Is there anything more important than Love?

So, is there anything more important than Love?
The answer to this question varies from person to person, from culture to culture, from era to era… It has been debated countless times, many books have been written on it and numerous intellectual wars have been fought because of it’s ideas.
The answer to this question is a simple one. It’s a basic question after all. Supporting the answer takes lots of words, but I won’t go into that here.
To answer this question, we must imagine a pure love - not physical attraction or something similar - untainted by any of this world’s evils.
Imagine a mother’s love for her child. Close your eyes and imagine it. ‘Yea, now! …if you imagine it correctly, it should give you some chills down the spine. Please note that if you want to try imagining it, you must have felt it sometime in your life.
Now imagine where would we all be if someone hadn’t loved us along the way? Where would you be? Would you *be*? How empty and lonesome would all our lives be without knowing the joy of loving someone else? How would you feel to be alone in this world?
We could argue that what we perceive as “love” is merely a natural instinct of survival. Rather Darwinistic that would be. Cold. Unhuman. Unfriendly. I don’t find that worth living.
However, I am romantic enough to accept the idea of Love as something that is above pretty much everything else. In my books, Life without Love isn’t Life, it’s Death. I have all the time in the universe to be dead - I consider it a terrible waste to add this time to that one.
I believe Love is the only infinite attribute which we humans possess. And, ironically, it is the one with which we are most scarce with. It’s free, it’s infinite, share it!

PS: Love: the selfless and complete dedication of one’s self to another, without *any* conditions. Even the tiniest condition destroys the definition.
